Money Spread

Where your money comes from, where it goes, what to watch

History

The suit of Pentacles began as Coins: fifteenth-century Italian cards already had Cups, Coins, Swords and Batons. In the 1909 Rider-Waite-Smith deck the coins became discs engraved with a pentagram, the suit of earth, matter and the body. The money spread reads that layer: where money comes from, where it goes, where the chance is.
