Hexagram

Seven cards: a matter seen from past to outcome, inside and out

History

The hexagram, two interlaced triangles, is known in Western esotericism as the Seal of Solomon, the joining of heaven and earth, inner and outer. The hexagram spread is especially popular in Japanese tarot books: the upward triangle reads the flow of time, the downward triangle the action, surroundings and attitude, and the centre the outcome.
